Intuitive Eating

Everyone is valuable and worthy just as they are, without needing validation from external sources. As we all know, that’s not always easy to believe.

Many of us tend to focus on changing our size and shape as the first step to boost confidence and empowerment. It's a common struggle.

That’s why I wrote the book, “If My Ass Were Smaller Life Would Be Perfect.” I’ve been there. I used to believe that all my inadequacies would go away and I’d feel confident and empowered if only I were living in a smaller body.

All I got from trying to accomplish that goal was a larger body (because diets don’t work) and years of wasted time and focus as I obsessed about food.

Some of us have been following diets for so long we don’t trust ourselves. We don't know what or how to eat without a diet plan, approved food lists, or point to calculate.

When you’re ready to be done with all that, there’s Intuitive Eating.

Intuitive Eating is a non-diet holistic approach to nourishing your body. By listening to your inner cues when it comes to food and focusing on honoring your hunger and, respecting your fullness, you’ll establish a healthy relationship with food and your body and ultimately quiet that message from your Mean Girl that insists if my ass were smaller life would be perfect.

There are 10 principles of Intuitive Eating. But it’s important not to think of them as rules, or steps. They’re simply areas to focus on.
